Fashion Icon Of The Month: Rachel Zoe

You all know that I am a big Rachel Zoe fan, and recently I have been addictively watching her show, The Rachel Zoe Project, which has made me like her even more. I wanted to crown her October's Fashion Icon for many reasons: I love what she wears, her commitment to style and glamour is inspiring, and the main reason, she is a killer red-carpet stylist. Her clients (who include Liv Tyler, Cameron Diaz, Demi Moore, Jennifer Garner and Joy Bryant) all look amazing on the red-carpet, everything is thought through by Zoe, from the earrings to the shoes.
I know she still has a hard time in the media, and the 'Zobot' days haven't been completely forgotten, but I am still a big fan.
This post is dedicated to my lovely friend Serena, who is always the first to post beautiful comments on my blog and on my myspace page.

How talented is Zac Posen? I'm a little upset that Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi stole my wedding dress designer of choice, but as I love Ellen and am not engaged I decided to forgive them. I am not a fan of dresses that puff out Cinderella style, and the idea of a pale pink wedding dress makes me pull a disgusted looking face. But Zac Posen made a subtle pink halterneck wedding gown with plunging neckline and full net skirt look stunning. So clever.

On the bright side of things —stylistically speaking, of course— I'd like to make a little flashback to 2006, when The O.C. said goodbye to Marissa Cooper in her dream Camelia dress from Chanel's Spring 2006 collection.
She pulled it off beautifully for graduation paired up with a rope version of gladiators.
Get this: there were only two such Camelia Chanel dresses available in the U.S. and six others around the world.
Why I wrote this?
Because today I watched again one of the O.C. episode of season three and I fell in love with that Camelia Chanel dress again !!!
That is my favourite dress ever wore by one of my favourite style icon !!!
I will spend the next two weeks in Ireland so I won’t update my blog.
Unfortunately I will miss red carpet, events and gossip !

S & B are like totally BFF again...

The second series of Gossip Girl is currently being filmed, and in true Gossip Girl fashion the characters are spending the summer in The Hamptons.

I'm so interested in who is going to hook up with who, and whether or not S and B will stay friends.What I care most is the wardrobe. And most importantly Leighton Meester's (Blair) wardrobe. From the sneaky on set snaps it looks like the costume department have given Blair the Audrey Hepburn look, and she looks amazing.

Does anyone remember in the books Blair had such an obsession (though who doesn't?) with Audrey Hepburn? I wish they would write that into the script. It made her character much more fun. I'm seeing it in the wardrobe but not in script!

“She’s a miracle,” Tori tells OK! of Stella, now two-weeks-old. “I was on one pill and wasn’t feeling well, so I went off of it. Two days later, the doctor put me on another, and on that one day, we conceived. It was meant to be!”
When asked if she was nervous about the delivery, Tori said, “I was more nervous this time, because I knew that I was going to have a C-section. You know, it’s major surgery. Regular birth seems easier to me than having your whole stomach cut open. I always read people are like, “Oh, C-sections are so Hollywood! All actresses do them!” Do you know what a C-section entails? They basically cut you open, remove your insides to get the baby out and literally put your uterus on your stomach and then put it back in. It’s pretty crazy.”

The 2008 BET Awards

While the red carpet was sunny and colorful in LA last night, the real fun was reserved for the Shrine Auditorium stage at the BET Awards. Well, there may not have been any robot suits at this year's Bet Awards, but there was plenty of other entertainment, starting with Usher's pyrotechnic performance and continuing through T. Pain's transformation of the awards show into a circus. He told the audience to "ride with the ringleader," since "this industry is my circus."Some of the best performances of the night were from our young familiar faces like Chris Brown and Rihanna as well as some old favorites like Alicia Keys alongside En Vogue and TLC (minus Left Eye). How cute was it seeing Chris/Rihanna singing along with each other's performances from the audience? Love it. Kanye has said that he's done having tantrums over award shows (though that does not go for everything ), but luckily last night he didn't have to walking away with two statues.

Along with lots of Obama love, Fergie helped close out the show with Nelly her fellow party person before hitting what I'm sure was the real fun at all the after show soirées.

Kate Moss made it a party of three as she brought her boyfriend Jamie and daughter Lila to London's Southwark Cathedral on Saturday for the wedding of Leah Wood, daughter of the Rolling Stones' Ron Wood. Kate and her gang caused a bit of a scene showing up ten minutes late (and after the bride, whoops) but at least they looked good. The real star of the show though was little Lila, who in her mini-fur and sassy pout is looking more and more like her mom every day. Methinks we have another model in the making.

Happy baby weekend

Heidi Klum spent the weekend engaging in her usual quality family time away from Seal but there is more than enough love to go around until he is back .

Ben Affleck went for his usual morning coffee run and although he had his hands full with lots of drinks, there was still enough room for tooth-grinning Violet. The daddy's little girl started off with her healthy box of Kashi's TLC crackers but left Starbucks with some yummy cookies. We love

our many LA Affleck sightings and we have a feeling Starbucks

We've seen plenty of Nicole and Joel these days but this weekend we got a rare treat to see the adorable baby Harlow. She looks so sweet in her pink little onesie sitting in her mom's lap. Nicole took her daughter with her to enjoy the hot Summer day at a friend's house in LA. Harlow looks like a mini me of Joel right now but she clearly has mom's colorful style. We only wish we got to see more of this little munchkin.

Blake Lively and Leighton Meester broke out their beach bodies as Gossip Girl started filming in the Hamptons . The girls looked fashionable of course as Blake traded in her casual preppy personal style for a more flashy gold cover up, while Leighton kept warm in a bathrobe over her one piece. Penn Badgley joined in on the fun in the sun, so either he can't bear to part from his real life girlfriend or we can look forward to seeing what happens next between Dan and Serena. One thing is for sure; Nate is going to have an interesting romantic development when the show comes back on September 1. Even Blake's adorable puppy Penny got to hang out on set, though hopefully she was on better behevior than the day before.

Yes, first posts are always lame. At least that's what I think. They're your introduction to the world out there connected to the internet, they're your presentation as a blogger. Yes, I am a blogger. At least now, I am. I've finally decided to create my very own fashion blog. I think that I discovered that fashion blogs existed just a couple of months ago, when browsing through accounts on Polyvore. Then, clicking one link after the other this magnificent world opened up to me. I cannot believe all this time I didn't know anything about it. Reading blog after blog I started growing this temptation to create one. But I thought it was too complicated and impossible. But I've changed my mind and here I am !!!Where did I get this passion for fashion? I don't know really... Spending time thinking about an outfit? Shopping a whole day?
I think I started developing this love for fashion when I noticed how good it felt when I was in a cool outfit. How I noticed that people looked at me differently, how I felt much more comfortable. Sometimes when I wake up late and just throw on a sweatshirt, jeans and Converse that don't even go well with the top I get to school and I want to go back home and change. I just don't feel well with myself. Well enough of that...Kind of boring no?
I want to make an original first post but next will be better and better !!!
And soon you start to know my own world ...
